WHAT DO WE DO AT CAMP and FAQs

  1. Two rides per day. One ride is a lesson and the second ride is different every day it could be (but not limited to) games on horseback, trail ride, bareback riding, obstacle courses and vaulting!
  2. Riders are assigned to the same horse all week. They are %100 responsible for their horses care as it is THEIR horse for the week.
  3. The kids get one theory lesson per day. Lesson topics include, horse first aid, advanced grooming techniques, lunging and horse handling, care and adjustment of equipment, etc.
  4. We swim A LOT! Sometimes on hot afternoons we bring lunch to the beach and swim and relax until its cool enough to ride again.
  5. All meals are included for sleepover camp. Lunch is included for day camp.
  6. Day camp is 9am to 4:30pm. Sleepover camp starts at 8am on Monday until 4:30pm on Friday.
  7. Sleepover campers have bonfires and games at night. Horsey movies if the weather is rainy.
